Comprehensive Stool Pathogen Test This test can detect both "good" and "bad" bacterial imbalances and also detects pathogens such as parasites and yeasts e.g. Candida albicans that may cause a variety of symptoms. Abnormalities can then be corrected by the necessary means, which may include drug, herbal, probiotic and dietary changes. This test requires that a small amount of fresh stool be collected in a leak-proof, plastic container (all provided by the laboratory). These kits can be taken home and the stool sample can then be sent to the lab. |
